GlobalGiving’s Global Open is winding down, but the challenge is more
exciting than ever!

We’re proud to announce that the LRFF raised $5,568 from 51 donors which
meets GlobalGiving’s threshold for a permanent spot on GlobalGiving.com and
in the GlobalGiving network. THANK YOU! We could not have done this without
you.

But we still need your help! GlobalGiving has offered additional bounties
for the top three fundraisers ($3,000, $2,000 and $1,000, respectively) and
the organization that recruits the most donors ($3,000). That’s a possible
$6,000 extra! The LRFF is in 6th place, my friend Ross tells me, although I
can’t find that info on the page, and there’s still time to earn the bonus
prizes. It’s still anyone’s game, and the LRFF wants to come out on top!
